Opting out looks fairly easy, as long as you have the info to email them. The email is arbitrationoptout@etsy.com.
The only one that’s hard to find is your username. Go to your profile, and then look at the URL (it will look like “http://www.etsy.com/people/username”) that’s where you’ll see your username instead of the word username. It’s not listed in your profile itself.
No but seriously as I’ve gotten older I realize more and more that although white gays do face certain levels of oppression they are still white people…..like does that make sense?
Like yes a white lesbian has some form oppression against her but she’s still a white woman….. and the same thing for white gay men and white trans men and women like they’re still white !!!!!!
Like I don’t mean this in a rude way but like if we’re going to be honest about the lgbtq community we should also talk about how the white people in said community oppress poc and it doesn’t change just because they’re in a minority group they’re still white people
And like personally I’ve seen that white lgbtq ppl hate when you bring up that their still white because they’ve separated themselves in their mind as being better but they’re still white!!!

i don’t participate in fandom to “escape.” i think fandoms are toxic bc they’re riddled with the same problems that plague larger society. it’s only a “safe bubble” and a “site of refuge” for people who decide to leave their empathy & critical thinking faculties at the door when they enter these spaces
oh it’s a “safe space”? from what? at whose expense? i don’t CARE if i ruin your fun or “enjoyment” bc you shouldn’t BE “enjoying” half of the things you so uncritically enjoy anyway. it’s easy to dismiss people’s misgivings and criticisms bc YOU’RE not the one affected by this content. “give people the benefit of the doubt”? they don’t DESERVE benefit of the doubt. things like racism & p*dophilia & transphobia get entrenched in society precisely BECAUSE people let their media manifestations slide. “just let people enjoy things”? what “things”? nobody’s actually stopping you from doing or feeling anything, you just feel threatened, bc deep down you feel guilty. why don’t you ask yourself why
